What project(s) are you currently working on?
on June 30th I release my newest single “Wish”
What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?
I knew at 11 years old that I wanted to play music. There was a local blues guy out in Baytown, Gene Kelton, who took me under his wing and showed me how to play guitar. My parents were big fans and took me to as many shows as they could, he became a family friend and would come over to our house and just hang out and talk music. When I was 17 he was tragically killed in a car accident and his wife asked me to front his band for several benefits, playing those shows just furthered my desire to play music.
If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a career?
I would have the be involved in music somehow, either as a writer or a producer.
What is your favorite downtime activity?
I spend my off days playing video games, hanging out with friends and spending time with my wife and the dogs.
