What project(s) are you currently working on?

My new EP, “Stripped” was just released a few weeks ago. It’s a collection of my past seven singles re-recorded as acoustic tracks, live off the floor. I wanted to bring these songs back to life one last time before closing this chapter in my career. This EP was supposed to come out prior to the pandemic, so I had to come up with a clever way to release the songs, since they’ve all been heard before. I think that there is nothing better than a live performance, and these songs make you feel as if you were in the room with me, and that is what makes this EP so special. We also filmed the entire process on video and I will be releasing each video very soon.

“Stripped” is my first EP, but I’m also in the early stages of working on a full-length record of ten songs. I can’t wait to start sharing more new music next year!

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I grew up in a musical family, and I’ve been surrounded by it my entire life.

Everyone on my father’s side of the family is artistic in some sort of way. Growing up, I watched my father play live music and he was always in a band. From a young age, I knew that being on a stage was the place for me. I started singing at the age of two, and my parents often caught me singing myself to sleep. From that moment, they knew I’d be a singer.

I took vocal and piano lessons at a young age, for over ten years. I’ve always been a dreamer, and imagined myself doing this as my career. Since 2018, I’ve really indulged myself into the Canadian Country Music scene, and I have been going at music full force ever since!

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

Currently I balance two careers! I’m an artist, but what many people don’t know is that when I’m not performing, I’m working in the dental world!

What is your favorite downtime activity?

My favourite downtime activity is to hike, ATV or dirtbike! I love the outdoors and if I’m not binge-watching my favorite show on Netflix, that’s exactly where you’ll find me.

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

I’m a big fan of the actor Miles Teller. His sense of humor gets me every time!

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

I’ve never been a big sports fan, so I don’t have a favorite team. I did grow up playing soccer, so if I were interested in watching any sports, it would probably be that.

What is the last movie that you watched?

I’ve been really hooked on Netflix series and I can’t remember the last movie I watched, but I have been watching ‘You’ on Netflix. I’m a big fan of anything thrilling!

What is the last album you listened to?

The last album I listened to would be “Starfire” by Caitlyn Smith. She’s one of my favorite artists, and I could listen to her on repeat!

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Hands down – any Chris Stapleton album. I’ll never get sick of that!

What is the greatest country song of all time?

“Jolene” by Dolly Parton is a legendary song that always has me singing or dancing!

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

I loved Moab in Utah. I did some incredible hiking and backcountry camping there.

What is your favorite meal?

My fiancé’s wood oven pizza is to die for. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’d eat it five times a week if I could!

Who is your dream duet partner?

I always say Chris Stapleton but to spice things up, I’d also love to duet with Devin Dawson. I love his vibe and his voice!

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain or Little Big Town to name a few. The list could go on forever!

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

My ultimate career goals are to sign a record deal and win some awards – like every other artist trying to make it in this crazy and fun industry. The most important thing to me is to have an everlasting career in music, and connect with people through my lyrics and songs. If I can make an in impact on just one person, I’m already doing my job right and I’ve already succeeded in my mind. I want to be happy doing what I love, and I hope that one day I can do music full-time.
