Artist Name:  Madison Station
Hometowns: Craig Anderson (formerly of Platinum-selling band Heartland) is from Madison, AL and Lance Horton is from Collinwood, TN

What project(s) are you currently working on?

Lance: We have a completed EP that will be released most likely early next year after a few of the singles have been released to the public. Our current single is “Back In The Day.”

Craig: We are finishing the final mix and mastering on the last two songs on our upcoming EP.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

Lance: I grew up around music in church with my dad singing in a gospel quartet. It wasn’t until I moved to Nashville after college and started hopping on stage with friends that I knew I really wanted to pursue a career in music.

Craig: I grew up in a house filled with music, and it was something I always did to one extent or another.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

Lance: I would be teaching middle/high school Social Studies.

Craig: I think it would have been neat to go to law school. I would get paid to argue all the time.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

Lance: I like watching sports and movies. I also enjoy grilling/smoking meat and cooking in general.

Craig: I enjoy watching sports, running around after my kids, and taking quality naps.

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

Lance: Sandra Bullock. I’ve been a fan since high school.

Craig: Nice try. I think I’ll pass on that one.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

Lance: I’m a huge Tennessee Volunteer and Atlanta Braves fan.

Craig: Auburn, Chicago Cubs, ATL Braves, Cowboys

What is the last movie that you watched?

Lance: The Black Phone

Craig: Elvis (an excellent flick btw)

What is the last album you listened to?

Lance: Little Big Town‘s Mr. Sun

Craig: The live Alabama record

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Lance: I would listen to either Matchbox 20’s Yourself Or Someone Like You, James Morrison’s Undiscovered, or Diamond Rio‘s self-titled debut.

Craig: The Beatles’ 1

What is the greatest country song of all time?

Lance: When I Call Your Name-Vince Gill

Craig: There are too many to consider!

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Lance: I love New Orleans and all of its life, weirdness, and amazing food.

Craig: Honestly, most of them really- all the big ones (L.A, NYC, Chicago, Dallas) but also the cool small ones like Astoria, OR (where they filmed the Goonies), Everglades City, FL, San Luis Obispo, CA, and Thief River Falls, MN.

What is your favorite meal?

Lance: It changes periodically, but you can’t go wrong with some good grilled salmon, rice, and grilled veggies.

Craig: Anything Mexican

Who is your dream duet partner?

Lance: Miranda Lambert

Craig: Carrie Underwood

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Lance: Currently, Morgan Wallen or Luke Combs, those dudes are killin’ it.

Craig: There’s a bunch, but I think it would be cool to go on tour with Morgan Wallen.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

Lance: To have fun, reach as many people as possible with our music and be relevant. There are several music venues I’d like to be able to check off my bucket list as well.

Craig: To play and record the music I wanna do and finish my career on my terms.
