What project(s) are you currently working on?

We just finished and released our new album “It’s Been Awhile,” so we’re doing a lot of shows and touring, but have already started writing for a new record!

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I’ve been playing all my life, but really started to think about a career in 2014 when I hooked up with some writers in Nashville who liked my original music.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I haven’t really thought about that in a long time. I guess I’d probably be doing something with wildlife conservation or just something to do with being out in nature.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

Tailgating UK sports events!

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

Miranda Lambert for sure!

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

University of Kentucky #bbn!

What is the last movie that you watched?

“Jurassic World.”

What is the last album you listened to?

“A Sailor’s Guide to Earth” by Sturgill Simpson.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Tyler Childers’ Purgatory.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

“The Dance” by Garth Brooks.

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Charlotte, N.C.

What is your favorite meal?

Catfish, greens and slaw!

Lindsay Ell!

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Brantley Gilbert or Kid Rick.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

I’d like to play the Grand Ole Opry and Red Rocks!
