Check out our newest interview with road warrior Dallas Moore!  We appreciate him taking the time to answer some questions for us in the midst of 300+ show dates this year!

Cincinnati, OH/Universal City, TX

What project(s) are you currently working on?

New album Tryin’ To Be A Blessing out October 4, constant touring, and starting to write for the next album.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

My Mama Madgelee bought me my first guitar when I was 16 years old and I was off and running and never looked back.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living? 

That would never be an option for me. I’ve been all in with music for my entire life. Through high times and hard times music is the one thing that has always been constant in my existence and experience.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

Spending time with my Wife Jenna Danielle Moore and our 2yr old daughter Victory Lee Moore. Other than that I spend a lot of time riding my Harley Davidson Road King.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Reds, Kentucky Wildcats (Basketball,) Alabama Crimson Tide ( Football) and The Nature Boy Ric Flair ~ WOOOOOOOOOOO!

What is the last movie that you watched? 

Willie Nelson‘s “Honeysuckle Rose” or Bram Stoker’s Dracula

What is the last album you listened to?

Barnyard Stompers ” Goin’ Down To Meet The Devil”

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Billy Joe Shaver’s “Tramp On Your Street”

What is the greatest country song of all time?

Billy Joe Shaver’s “Live Forever ” tied with Hank Williams “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Tie – San Antonio/New Braunfels, Texas & Perdido Key, Florida

What is your favorite meal?

Texas BBQ – Beef Rib, Jalapeño Sausage, Brisket and Smoked Turkey. With a Bowl of Texas Red Chili  and a Lone Star Beer.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Ray Wylie Hubbard

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

To keep on making my music and take the country to the people!
