  • 2020 – Gwen Stefani made her Grand Ole Opry debut when she performed with Blake Shelton remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • 2015 – Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush” topped the Billboard charts for the first of 13 weeks
  • 2012 – Tim McGraw signed a new record label deal with Big Machine Records
  • 2010 – Blake Shelton proposed to Miranda Lambert while out in the woods in Oklahoma
  • 2005 – Kenny Chesney married actress Renee Zellweger in the Virgin Islands
  • 2004 – Trick Pony signed a record label deal with Curb Records
  • 2001 – Lee Ann Womack won 3 ACM Awards for her smash hit “I Hope You Dance.”  Trophies were for Single, Song, and Vocal Event (w/ Sons of the Desert)
