AT&T U-verse Fan Fair X at CMA Music Festival is back and better than ever! The four-day event is the center of the fan and artist experience during the Festival, featuring performances, activities, and artist interactions you can’t find anywhere else.

Each day of #CMAfest will kick off with the Artist of the Day. Little Big Town (Thursday), Hunter Hayes (Friday), Chris Young (Saturday), and Darius Rucker (Sunday) start each day off right with appearances and Q&As at the CMA Close Up Stage.

The CMA Close Up Stage is where fans can get up-close-and-personal with their favorite artists, including appearances by 2015 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees The Oak Ridge Boys and Jim Ed Brown, CMA Songwriters Series featuring Sara Evans, “American Country Countdown” with Kix Brooks, a Q&A with Kellie Pickler, ABC’s “Nashville” star Charles Esten, stars of the Grand Ole Opry, Song Suffragettes with special guest Jamie O’Neal celebrating female songwriters, and more!

Two stages packed with live performances from Country’s rising stars and legends, the AT&T U-verse Showcase Stage and Durango Music Spot.

The 2015 CMA Foundation Auction benefiting music education will include memorabilia from Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Ariana Grande, Hunter Hayes, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, A Thousand Horses, Meghan Trainor, and Zac Brown Band.

The Oak Ridge Boys are releasing a new Gospel album! Rock of Ages, Hymns and Gospel Favorites will hit stores on May 26th featuring 15 tracks.

“All of The Oak Ridge Boys are men of faith,” Allen says. “We were raised in four different states, but we were all brought up in homes where our parents taught us about Jesus and believing in God. All of the Oaks grew up singing in church. These songs are some of the first we learned to sing. Their messages of hope, love, assurance, faith, heaven and, basically, how to live formed the foundation of each of us.”

“The reason these old hymns are so familiar is because they are great. They have lived through the decades, even centuries, because they were written in times when man’s faith was tested. They have stood the test of time because the message transcends the test of time.”

It’s interesting to note that Merle Haggard wrote a song for this album!

“Merle Haggard has been a good friend of The Oak Ridge Boys for decades,” Allen continues. “He was taping a TV show with Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives; and my son-in-law, Paul Martin, sings and plays with The Fabulous Superlatives, so Merle gave Paul a copy of ‘Sweet Jesus’ and asked him to give it to me for the Oaks.

“We loved the recitation and thought if we could just get Merle to do that recitation we would be thrilled. But then, it worked so well that Merle just kept on singing with us on the last chorus—a once in a lifetime experience for all of The Oak Ridge Boys. It is one of the biggest thrills of my career to get to sing and record with Merle Haggard.”
