Branch & Dean are a duo from Florida, perhaps best known for their touching song “The Dash,” a tribute song that has tremendous meaning and was inspired by the loss of Branch’s son at the age of 23 to Cystic Fibrosis.

This was one of my favorite interviews of the week, as both of these guys were really engaging, open, and entertaining. Our interviews are usually fun and lighthearted, but this one was an emotional roller coaster, as we talked about the good, the bad, and the ugly of their backgrounds and career. Kayla Adams

Montana native Kayla Adams is truly dedicated to her craft. After taking some classes at two prestigious music schools, she hit the road to travel the country in her pickup truck, playing shows at any venue she could book a gig at in towns she wanted to visit. All this while often sleeping in her truck! She has since settled in Nashville, where her budding career is ready to take off.
