Country singer Sarah Darling (“Home To Me”) will be a contestant on the new singing competition show Rising Star (featuring Brad Paisley). She joins Julie Roberts (“Break Down Here”) who tried out for The Voice and Emily West (“Rocks In Your Shoes”) who just tried out on America’s Got Talent as artists that have chosen to take the reality TV show avenue to get their name back out there. What are your thoughts on artists who have at one point had a record label deal and nationally released (and charted) singles that are now trying to get back into the game through the TV show competitions?
