Blake Shelton announced this morning on The Today Show that he is releasing a new album on September 30th titled Bringing Back the Sunshine!  This marks his 11th studio album, and can be pre-ordered now through Wal-Mart’s website.

The title track is written by hit song-writer Anthony Smith, who released the track as a single himself 5 years ago from his Sunshine EP.  His version of the track peaked at #60 on the charts, which is pretty impressive coming from an EP!  It remains to be seen if Shelton will give it a shot as a single himself…hopefully he does, as it’s a great song!

On a side note…we’d like to think that Blake Shelton got the idea for his album cover from our logo and website masthead…thanks for keepin’ tabs on us Blake!
