Gene Watson Announces Fourteen Carat Mind Tour

Gene Watson continues to hit the road in 2025 celebrating the 50th anniversary of his career-defining hit, “Love in the Hot Afternoon.” The single climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard charts and became one of the top songs of 1975.

In 2026, Watson will honor the 45th anniversary of one of his most requested songs, “Fourteen Carat Mind,” released in September of 1981 and later becoming a No. 1 hit. The tour also marks a special milestone as Watson approaches his 82nd birthday on October 11 (full list of tour dates below). Adding to the celebration, Watson’s complete solo catalog is now available to stream on Spotify for the very first time.
