  • Artist Name: Riley Resa
  • Hometown: Orlando, Florida

What project(s) are you currently working on?

I am currently releasing a new single every month through May. My latest release, “Funeral for Our Love”, is now available on all streaming platforms.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I have always been drawn to music, but the moment I truly realized I wanted to pursue a career in it was when I performed Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” at my fifth-grade talent show.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I truly can’t imagine myself doing anything other than music. However, if I had to choose, I’d likely be working with an animal rescue—and probably surrounded by thousands of dogs!

What is your favorite downtime activity?

I love spending time at the dog park with my pup, and I have a deep passion for writing emotional ballads.

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

 100% Shawn Mendes.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

 Miami Dolphins

What is the last movie that you watched?

 Happy Gilmore

What is the last album you listened to?

 Think Later – Tate McRae

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is definitely a hard question, but I would say Positions – Ariana Grande.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

My favorite country song of all time is “God Plays a Gibson” – Megan Moroney

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Definitely Santa Barbara, California. It is absolutely gorgeous there.

What is your favorite meal?

 Pasta!

Who is your dream duet partner?

 Megan Moroney

Who would you like to go on tour with?

 Shawn Mendes

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

My ULTIMATE career goal is to perform/win a CMA Award.
