  • 2020 – The WIRK Rib Roundup in West Palm Beach, FL ended early due to a light technician dying of a heart attack in the rafters.  It was the last concert for the area before things shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • 2019 – Chuck Wicks proposed to Jason Aldean’s sister Kasi Williams
  • 2015 – Aaron Watson topped the country albums chart with The Underdog
  • 2008 – Sara Evans got engaged to former Alabama QB Jay Barker
  • 2006 – Trent Tomlinson released his debut album Country Is My Rock
  • 1998 –Sara Evans made her Grand Ole Opry debut
  • 1998 – George Strait topped the charts with “Round About Way”
  • 1986 – Randy Travis made his Grand Ole Opry debut
