  • Hometown: originally from Grafton, WV, now living in Nashville, TN

What project(s) are you currently working on?

My new album, “Out All Nighter,” comes out December 4th, so I’m busy promoting that.  And, we’re actually recording a song for a TV show right now.  I think it airs sometime after the 1st of January, so I can’t really give away too much info yet.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I’ve always been involved with music since I was really young. I would say church was the first inspiration. That was where I got involved in it, anyway. When I got older, my wife really encouraged it a lot, and I think that’s when I knew I was supposed to write and play.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I would probably still be doing factory work. That’s was the job I had prior to music. I was a third generation line worker at the only factory left in my hometown.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

I love to golf. That’s how I wish I could spend all of my time off. I’m horrible at it, but next to hunting and fishing, it’s the most relaxing for me, and I just enjoy it.

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

I’m not sure I still have a celebrity crush the older I get, but I’ll say when I was younger, it was absolutely Halle Berry.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

Pittsburgh Steelers, without a doubt!

What is the last movie that you watched?

I don’t watch much television, but I’m a huge John Wayne fan, thanks to my Papaw on my mom’s side, and my dad also. Periodically, I will watch one his westerns. This time, it was “Sons of Katie Elder.” That’s the last movie I watched.

What is the last album you listened to?

Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughan, In Session.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Guy Clark’s The Essential Guy Clark.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

I’m not sure there is a greatest country song for me, but there’s definitely a few that rate high in my book. “Sunday Morning Coming Down” is up there for sure. Others include “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain,” “Silver Wings,” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today.” Genius writing, in my opinion.

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Trinidad, Colorado. I didn’t get to spend much time there, but I feel like it’s been my favorite so far.

What is your favorite meal?

Hands down, my mamma’s lasagna, and homemade Italian bread.

Who is your dream duet partner?

Loretta Lynn or Dolly Parton.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Willie Nelson. He’s really one of the very last greats who paved the way for all of us other hacks. I’d love to get “On The Road” with him.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

I wanna write and play songs that cause people to feel what the song is about. I want them to relate to what I was feeling when the song was written. Yeah, man!

  • Artist Name: Presley Tennant
  • Hometown: Norco, California

What project(s) are you currently working on?

I’ve been traveling to and from Nashville working on an album-worth of songs that you can expect early 2021, which I’m so excited for everyone to hear.  In addition to the album I have been performing for various virtual concerts & livestreams and getting ready for the Christmas SOS Holiday Foundation Concert.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I started at a very young age in the music industry and grew up performing at various different venues as well as on the T.V. show “The Voice”.  Ever since then, I knew that music is what I want to be doing for the rest of my life.  I truly enjoy performing and connecting with those who support me as not only an artist but as a person. I couldn’t be more grateful.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I don’t know how to answer this question because music is my career haha.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

That’s an easy answer since COVID-19 happened haha. If I have some free time and I’m not out with friends, then I’m most likely at the beach!

Who is your biggest celebrity crush?

Riley Green! I mean c’mon, I feel like I can speak for many here.

Who is your favorite sports team(s)?

Im a hockey girl so definitely Anaheim Ducks. My dad and I have been watching the games ever since I was little.

What is the last movie that you watched?

“Home Alone”! It’s one of my go-to Christmas favorites.

What is the last album you listened to?

The last album I listened to was “Nashaloma” by the Swon Brothers.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

It would have to be Miranda Lambert’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” album. It’s such a bad-ass powerful female album so who doesn’t want to listen to that.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

There’s so many to choose from so I can’t narrow it down to one, but a few would be, “Friends in Low Places,” “Devil Went down to Georgia,” “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” and so many more.

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Nashville is hands down my favorite place I’ve been to.  I love the atmosphere and the livelihood of the city and the people.  There’s so many incredible musicians who are all hardworking. It really motivates me to be around such amazing and talented musicians.

What is your favorite meal?

Any type of Italian food. I’m like a pasta connoisseur.

Who is your dream duet partner?

Another hard question so I’m gonna have to name a few: Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and so on.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

There’s so many powerful women in country music that I can’t narrow it down just to one, but a few would be Miranda Lambert or Carrie Underwood.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

The endgame for my career is to continue performing and loving what I do.

Nashville is always awesome but I absolutely love the town of York Beach up in Maine!
