Artist Name: Cole Parker
Hometown: Clarksdale, MS.

What project(s) are you currently working on?

We are in process of finalizing the recording sessions of three original songs.  Our plan of action is to release the songs one at a time. We all are very excited with the outcome of the songs as recorded and firmly believe they will get great reviews from the listeners as well as those spinning the records.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?

I was truly inspired to start pursuing a music career when I first started getting on stage and singing and playing the guitar. Growing up in a fourth generation musical family, playing music came naturally. It’s just what I was born to do. I’ve always used music as a “means of excape”. There’s few moments in life that make me feel as free as I do, when I’m on stage and singing my heart out.

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I’ve always been a natural salesman, no matter what it was. I never meet a stranger, and love talking to people and helping to resolve any problems or issues within a company or  business. Telecommunications has always been my main field of expertise. When I walk into the door of a business, anything that’s connected to a wire, I can handle.

What is your favorite downtime activity?

If I’m not spending time with my family, I’m behind my MacBook learning something new on YouTube. I’m an “information junkie” if you will. I love to watch educational seminars on various subjects like TEDTalks etc.

Again I can’t pick just one, because it’s too hard. I absolutely love New York City. And I love Charlottesville Virginia. Beautiful city.

What is your favorite meal?

Fettuccine Alfredo. I don’t eat it very often so when I get to eat it it’s a treat.

Who is your dream duet partner?

To sing with? Probably Reba.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Well I would love to go on the road with either Reba or Dolly, but I’m honestly pretty easy-going. I would want to go on the road with somebody who spontaneous easy-going and fun.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

I would love to be a professional recording artist, and inspire people with my music.
