This news was not widely reported when it apparently came out towards the end of 2023, but we just found this statement on the Emerson Drive website noting that their run as a band was coming to an end.  At this time, they only have 2 shows on their schedule in August at festivals.

The past 25 years have been an amazing journey for Emerson Drive. We have been extremely fortunate to have had a lengthy career and have never taken it for granted. Collectively, we have all gotten to places individually that have opened the door to put a cap on our touring career. Everyone in Emerson Drive is ready and excited to announce that 2024 will be our last year of live performances. Our fans have been the driving force behind the past two plus decades, and we want to make sure they have an opportunity to share in the songs and lyrics that brought us all so many great memories. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible in 2024, and we promise to give you everything we have on stage one last time!

Ray Stevens has announced that 2024 will be his final run of live concerts at his West Nashville CabaRay Showroom. The legendary singer will perform weekly concerts begining Saturday, March 16 with plans to continue through December of this year.

Since opening CabaRay six years ago, Stevens has performed hundreds of concerts at the CabaRay. Now, at age 85, Stevens says he is ready to slow down, a bit, but not quite retire.

“I plan to stop performing regularly at my CabaRay Showroom here in Nashville at the end of 2024, but I’ll be going to work everyday in my recording studio and maybe I’ll do a few, a very few, shows in some old familiar places,” he explains. “I’m definitely slowing down but I haven’t come to a complete stop. Not yet anyway!”

Tickets for Stevens’ last run of concerts at the CabaRay Showroom are on sale now and can be purchased online at raystevenscabaray.showare.com or by calling 615-327-4630.
