Artist Name: Dan Rodriguez
Hometown:  Minneapolis, MN

What project(s) are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on finishing my newest record to follow up my latest single, “Passenger.”

If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?

I would probably be a hunting, fishing, wilderness guide somewhere in the north woods.

What is the last album you listened to?

I’ve had Chris Stapleton’s “Starting Over” album on repeat for the last few days. I’m a big fan of the way he tells his stories.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I’m just grateful that none of us have to do this… it sounds awful.

What is the greatest country song of all time?

Any song that moves you, or makes you move, is probably the greatest song of all time in that moment.

What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?

Every town has its own unique charm and personality… I always try and find a bar or place with the most locals, and that place is usually my favorite place in that town.

Who is your dream duet partner?

If I could sing a duet with Ella Fitzgerald, I would be pretty happy about that.

Who would you like to go on tour with?

Anybody who likes good whiskey, delicious coffee, and finding the best tacos in each town sounds like the best kind of person to travel and make music with.

What is your ultimate career goal(s)?

This is constantly changing and shifting, but ultimately I just want to find a good balance of touring and playing shows and staying home and being a dad and a husband. So that, along with continual growth, is my ultimate goal.
