What project(s) are you currently working on?
At the moment, I am working in the studio on my first EP.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music and when did you know?
My story goes back to 1994. I had just recently left active duty with the Marines, and was looking for a fresh start. I moved back home to be close to my family. One night during the summer, I woke up from a dead sleep and just started writing down things that came to me. I felt that God must have been trying to tell me something. I believe that was a wake up call for me and that I would be starting a new journey in my life. I have always been artistic and creative. When I was very young, I could draw/sketch and paint with great accuracy. But later in life, I grew less interested in art. That was until my wake up call! Words on a sheet of paper that night were the beginning of a new artistic journey that led to songwriting.
If you weren’t pursuing a career in music, what would you be doing for a living?
I have a lot of interest in technology and science, so I would likely pursue a career in one of those fields.
What is your favorite downtime activity?
I love the outdoors. Fishing and hunting have always been activities I have been passionate about.
Who is your biggest celebrity crush?
Kacy Muscgraves. She is a beautiful young lady and a very talented songwriter and country music artist.
Who is your favorite sports team(s)?
The Kansas City Chiefs football team and the Kansas City Royals baseball team.
What is the last movie that you watched?
Recently I watched the new movie on Netflix called “The Power of the Dog.” Great western movie!
What is the last album you listened to?
Johnny Cash: American IV: The Man Comes Around
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I am a big fan of Keith Whitley, so I think his album, Don’t Close Your Eyes would be it. Such a great music artist!
What is the greatest country song of all time?
Keith Whitley’s song, “Don’t Close Your Eyes.”
What has been your favorite city/town that you’ve visited out on the road?
I have not completed any touring yet.
What is your favorite meal?
Old fashioned beef stew.
Who is your dream duet partner?
Kacey Muscgraves
Who would you like to go on tour with?
George Strait
What is your ultimate career goal(s)?
To be a successful singer-songwriter and country music artist.
