It’s a rite of passage for any music fan, seeing “The Chief” live in concert. Known for his marathon sets, the 2022 Billboard Music Awards’ Top Country Tour honoree Eric Church brings his critically acclaimed live show to new audiences in new ways this year, headlining outdoor venues throughout the summer with The Outsiders Revival Tour. Joining the man praised by POLLSTAR for “having already long established himself as one of the most successful touring country artists” across varying dates are Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Red Clay Strays.

“When I approach touring, I’m always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually. Whether it’s solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively,” shared Church. “Well, we have never done an outdoor summer tour. Never headlined amphitheaters. Never brought a summer experience to your town that featured artists we want to share the summer with. Until now. See you in the season of sunshine with some fellow outsiders that shine brightest when the sun goes down.”

Kicking off June 22, the Live Nation produced tour takes the man celebrated by Forbes for “offering fans a unique experience each night while conjuring up the unpredictability that used to make concerts unforgettable” to 26 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Tickets to all dates go on sale next Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com, with presale access available to Church Choir members starting Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.

Whiskey Myers Announces 2023 Tour Dates

The Whiskey Myers 2023 Tour continues to build excitement with today’s announcement of 15 additional headlining dates from the multi-platinum band. The Live Nation-produced tour now spans 23 cities, kicking off February 16 in Knoxville, Tenn. at Knoxville Civic Coliseum, with stops in Augusta, Ga., Toledo, Ohio, Nashville, Tenn., Kansas City, Mo. and more before a July 28 finale in Billings, Mont. at First Interstate Arena. Joining the genre-bending band across varying dates are Giovannie & The Hired Guns, Rival Sons and The Weathered Souls, with additional support to be announced.

Tickets for the newly added shows go on sale starting Friday, January 13 at 10 a.m. local time via whiskeymyers.com. Tickets for all other U.S. shows are on sale now.

The tour comes on the heels of the band’s 2022 Tornillo Tour, in support of their critically acclaimed album Tornillo, praised by American Songwriter for putting Whiskey Myers “in a league of their own with their signature hard-rocking sound on full display” and released in 2022 via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records with distribution by Thirty Tigers. Fans will have a chance to see this signature sound live on the upcoming tour, with Nashville Lifestyles declaring, “Southern rock is alive and well on Whiskey Myers’ Tornillo – and it comes with a brassy border-town swagger… Equal parts train songs, tenacious energy, and Tabasco… their lawless musicality burns like the sun.”

Jelly Roll Scores First Career #1 Single

Posted by at 11:15 pm on January 9, 2023

Country newcomer Jelly Roll scored his first No. 1 on Country radio this week, as his debut Country single “Son Of A Sinner” reached the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck/MediaBase charts!

Written by Jelly Roll with fellow Nashville native Ernest and David Ray Stevens, Jelly shared with Billboard his appreciation for his first #1 single at Country radio, noting “There is no greater reward for a singer and songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee than to have the #1 song on Country radio. Now, imagine that happening to a guy that grew up in this town…a guy that, at every turn the first 25 years of his life, made the wrong decision. Imagine everyone telling that guy he had no chance at Country radio. ‘You’re too overweight, you have too many tattoos, they will never let another convicted criminal on Country radio’ – now imagine Country radio proving everyone wrong and taking the chance on the song, the message and the man. If you can imagine that, then you can understand why I’m so filled with gratitude as tears stream down my face while I type this: I currently have the number 1 song on Country radio. Thank you, Country Radio and all the Streaming Partners, for making ‘Son of a Sinner’ my first #1 at Country radio. I vow to never let you down or forget the chance you gave me when everyone told you not to! I want to take a second to thank my label STONEY CREEK AND BMG — Loba and his misfits — y’all took the biggest chance. Every label in town told me I had a better chance signing with a label in LA than to ever have a chance in this town with my history — not only did that not scare BMG, it made them want to double down and go all in!”
