The stage lost power during last night’s Band Perry show at Ohio State University, but that didn’t stop the show from going on! Quick-thinking fans in the crowd pulled out their cell phones to light the area up so the band could keep playing.
“We never know what’s going to happen when we step on stage,” said Kimberly Perry. “One show I’m throwing bits of my shredded dress into the audience, and another we’re playing under the cell phone spotlight,” says Kimberly Perry.
“We’ already play a cover of Queen’s ‘Fat Bottom Girls’ in our set and after last night we may need to prepare a cover of Meat Loaf’s ‘Paradise by the Dashboard Light’ except ours would be called ‘Paradise by the Cellphone Light’” said Reid Perry.
“The OSU students definitely lit up the house in more ways than one! They were great and they were with us all the way!” says Neil Perry.
