Jo Dee Messina calls on her fans to be a part the video for her current single, ‘A Woman’s Rant” from her much anticipated new album, ‘Me’, due out March 18th.
Messina has partnered with Made In Network to create a new video for “A Woman’s Rant” by asking her fans to send in film clips of their personal interpretation and reactions of the scenes portrayed in the song.
“I am always approached by people telling me that this song is about their life,” says JO DEE about the inspiration to involve fans with the creation of the video. “We want to tell real stories directly from the people who have shared them with us.” Asking fans for their reaction to the song stays in the spirit of her “My time. Our music.” campaign, which has been successfully funded by a Kickstarter initiative.
Here are directions for fans to submit clips to the video:
- Capture clips of your personal interpretation, reactions, and feedback of the scenes portrayed in the song.
- Email us your clip along with a personal story of what the song or a moment in the song meant to you, at womansrant@jodeemessina.com.
- After you have submitted your video, tweet or post the clip to Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #womansrant.
- We will collect and edit together the best of your stories and clips to create an official music video for “A Woman’s Rant” to share with all of you!
- If your clip is selected we will post your name and a portion of your story in the description of the final video.
