Friends,
My musical life is an adventure, always has been. These last few years were just what they needed to be, lots of peaks and valleys that I call myself fortunate to have experienced. After all, that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? The experience, that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Yeah I know there are a million of those philosophical cliché sayings but it’s the damn truth.
One of the phrases you always hear in the music business is, “It’s all about timing.” One’s definition of success happens overnight for some and over years for others, but it all happens when it’s supposed to happen. I believe that whole-heartedly.
It is all about timing, and I knew very recently it was time for me to make a transition in my music career. I knew it was time for me to move on from what had been comfortable and branch out. I also knew I would take every single thing I’ve learned and experienced thus far with me.
That’s what this new music represents, my friends: timing. This is why I’m excited for all of my fans out there to hear it. I love you guys with all my heart and I look forward to experiencing something new in this adventure with ya in #JT2015.- JT
