1.  Where were you when you first heard yourself on the radio, and what was your reaction?  I knew it was coming on sometime between 8 and 9 PM on this particular evening so I was keyed up. I was in my office area just waiting, and then a big smile on my face and maybe a little rosy in the cheeks when I first heard it.

 2. What is the #1 item on your Bucket List?  Play a live show at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. Hopefully on a warm evening.

 3. What is something that you are extremely passionate about?  I’m actually a big Civil War buff. I have thousands of dollars in books and stuff and I’ve been to numerous battlefields.

4. If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?  Probably “Decade” from Neil Young. It’s sort of a best-of album but in that case you usually get more songs.

5. If music wasn’t your career, what would you be doing for a living?  Playing shortstop for the Braves, lol.

6. What would your final meal be if you knew it was your last one?  Since I wouldn’t have to worry about feeling like crap the next day I would eat an entire cherry crumb pie

7. What is your favorite sports team(s)?  I’ve always been a huge Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan. It goes way back to my childhood and I’m a very loyal person so I’ve never changed my alliances.

8. What’s been your favorite city/town to visit?  Nashville of course. It’s a place that I wouldn’t mind living in. Now New York City is real cool also, but the difference is that I wouldn’t want to live there. It’s too fast paced, lol.

9. What are your thoughts on the state of today’s country music?  I think Country music is going through the growing pains that Rock music has gone through over the years. The old school people don’t like it when something changes like that, and I understand, but I have to say that I don’t mind. Since my music is a bit to the left of center from standard Country it’s helped me immensely that the change is happening now.

10. What’s the best advice you could give to an aspiring artist?  One word: perseverance !!!!! You have to have a sustained effort to get anything accomplished in this business.
