2013 CMA Fest – Fan Fair X
The City of Nashville has opened the all new Music City Center, which will be home to this year’s Fan Fair Hall. This year it will be called the all new AT&T U-verse Fan Fair X, which will be triple the size of the previously used Convention Center. The new building will featured the following:
- Artist-Fan Connections. Greet and photograph hundreds of celebrities.
- Performance Stages. Live music from many artists and songwriters appearing at Fan Fair X!
- Fan Fair History Walk. Take an interactive stroll through 42 years of the event.
- Shopping. Whether browsing or buying, The FFX Market Place has your Country lifestyle must-haves.
- Daily Entertainment. Special shows and attractions will be featured each day inside FFX.
- Artist and Country artifacts, displays, memorabilia and much more!
Lady Antebellum will be kicking the festivities off with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, June 6th; followed by a performance and autograph signing in their custom “backstage” booth called ClubLabellum.
Like last year, there will be a raffled ticket system for Meet & Greets in Fan Fair X.
SUMMARY OF UPDATED FAN FAIR X AUTOGRAPH SIGNING PROCEDURES:
- Of the hundreds of artist appearances in Fan Fair X over the 4-day event, only a projected 10% of signings will require tickets. All others will be open, non-ticketed signings.
- Tickets for sessions that require tickets will be drawn before the event. Promotional tickets will still be available, so stay tuned to CMA MOB mobile updates, plus Facebook.com/CMA and Twitter.com/CountryMusic!
- Fan Hopeful Lines will return in 2013, with upgraded areas designated for fans to wait.
- Tickets will be physical tickets in 2013 – not wristbands as in 2012.
The entry period for tickets will start in late May and run for one week. The list of participating artists will be available at that time.
