Blair Garner has hosted After MidNite for nearly 20 years, and has finally decided to give up the reigns.  He recently started a new job hosting America’s Morning Show on New York City’s 94.7 WNSH (along with Chuck Wicks, Lee Ann Womack, Sunny Sweeney, and Terri Clark).  He had been working both gigs since the launch of the new show, but has since decided to focus solely on his new job.

“Premiere Networks has had a successful relationship with Blair Garner for many years and we wish him all the best with his new program,” Premiere EVP/Music Programming Jennifer Leimgruber told Country Aircheck.  “We look forward to announcing a new host for After MidNite in the near future.  In the meantime, we’re excited to welcome the biggest stars in country music as they put their stamp on After MidNite and help us celebrate this special milestone.”

Garner’s last night on After MidNite will be July 31st.  Until a new permanent host is found, stars such as Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Charles Kelley and Dave Heywood from Lady Antebellum, and Jake Owen will take turns filling in through the month of August.

Congratulations to Blair Garner on his new gig and for 20 years of great service to country music fans with After MidNite!
